Prior to coming to Longwood Pediatrics, Gabrielle practiced clinical social work for several years in an outpatient behavioral health setting. Gabrielle has experience in working with a variety of diagnoses, presenting problems, and patient populations. Gabrielle practices in a goal oriented way and she is skilled in providing Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

In my work with patients and families, it is my goal to consistently encourage them to experience their own resilience and to empower them to recognize that they have the power to make changes in their lives. I work in an empathic and collaborative way to help patients identify and achieve their goals, to address barriers to change, and to help them to maximize their potential.
